Megan Danielle grew up in Douglasville Georgia with 2 sisters and a brother where they did everything together. From watching their Grandpa and Uncles at the racetrack, playing ball, corn hole and spending lots of time together. Megan says, “I am really big on family, we are all so close and do just about everything together.
Music has always been a strong presence in Megan’s life. Megan says, “since I was a little girl I have always enjoyed listening to music and singing along to anything I’d hear. I was a bit shy to pursue it but eventually when I was 15, I booked my own show at a restaurant in Douglasville. At 18, I was singing anywhere I could…in bars, venues, and any place that would have me.
Placing 2nd on American Idol 2023, Megan’s performances showed a vast array of musical styles and influences including Miranda Lambert, Lauren Daigle, Chris Stapleton, Zach Williams, Patty Griffin, Fleetwood Mac and more. Although just 22 years old, Megan is a deep soul with a lot of life experiences to draw upon.
Megan’s first official single post American Idol, “Dream Girl” was released in 2023. After spending the last year touring, writing, and developing as an artist, Megan recently signed with Sony/Provident Music (Brandon Lake, Zach Williams, CAIN, Matthew West, Seph Schlueter, Casting Crowns). Her first single with Sony/Provident, “When I Found You” (written with Jason Ingram and Ethan Hulse) is slated for a November 2024 release with more singles to follow in early 2025. Megan has also been making the rounds as a featured vocalist with Ben Fuller (“If I Got Jesus) and Sidewalk Prophets (“Looking Up”). She will be touring this fall with Consumed By Fire and Caleb & John performing new music from her upcoming project.
