Legacy is a multi-talented artist, who fuses Hip-Hop music and the message of Jesus Christ. He is fast becoming known for his East Coast influenced Southern style of both Production as well as rapping.
Born in Buffalo, New York, Legacy relocated to the Tampa Bay area in 1992 with his family at age 14. He has worked in radio and music since 1994. His debut album "GREEN LIGHT,� released independently in 2004 showcased his lyrical ability, his personal testimony and commitment to Christ, as well as his production skills.
Legacy (Brandon Greene) attended and graduated from The School of Urban Missions (www.sumonline.org) located in New Orleans, LA. Receiving an Associate of Arts Degree with a Concentration in Urban Missions in 2001, he returned to Tampa, FL to intern and serve at Crossover Church, led by Pastor Tommy Kyllonen, aka "URBAN D.� Crossover is well known worldwide as the first church to target the Hip-Hop Culture with the Gospel.
Legacy and his wife Pam also led "Higher Definition Youth Ministries,� under Word of Life Foursquare Church from late 2005 until January of 2007. On a weekly basis over 40 urban youth of multiple ethnicities attended the Hip-Hop styled youth group. Brandon was also the Worship Leader for the church.
Still heavily involved with Holy Hip-Hop, Legacy produces or is directly involved with 40% of the local Holy Hip-Hop scene in Tampa, according to Carlos of Spirit FM 90.5.
