Rushcha (pronounced Russia) was a five-member band consisting of Soviet-born Peter and Nikolai Pankratz along with Americans Michael Jackson (no not that one)on keyboards, Billy Williams on drums, and Andy Denton as lead singer. The band had a good late 80's pop rock sound. Their debut album, Come Alive on their own Pan-Trax label, sold over 20,000 copies in the firt three months. Another album, Invisible Hands was released in 1992. After that time the band disbanded. Members Billy Williams and Andy Denton later went on to become founding members in Legend (also called Legend Seven). Andy Denton went on later to pursue a solo career.
