A friend recommended this book to me through our mom's group at church. I found a copy of it at a garage sale not too long after that. I'm not typically a reader. I never enjoyed reading. Friends encouraged me that all I needed to do was find an author that I connected with. Well, after picking up Redeeming Love and devouring it, Francine Rivers became one of those authors that I connected with. This book made me cry, and smile, and dream and consider others more. What a beautiful story of love and faithfulness, perseverance and pain, and ultimately God's blessings when we follow Him. This is a book that you could read over and over again as well! The story never gets old! I now have read many of Francine Rivers books and any time I see another one I pick it up for a later time. I love this book! It's definitely in my top ten favorites!

This book is basically a fictionized version of the book Hosea in the Bible. God tells the man to marry a prostitute which he must love no matter what happens!
When i read this book, i cried so many times. This book just kind of opens up your eyes to what real love is. It shows you the love that God has for his children. This was the first book i read by Francine Rivers, and I instantly fell in love! She is currently my number one author.
I would recommend this book to everyone! It will definetly move you to improve the way you love others and teach you to put other peoples needs before yours. AH-MAZING book! (:
