I actually read a bit of this book that one of my friends had. I was impressed with how it was able to keep me interested. I have never been a big reader, but this book was pretty enjoyable to read, at least the little bit that I looked through.

Not only the first but my favorite in the Circle series! Wonderfully written. Honestly I felt myself being present with these characters as they go through their trials searching for the 'Books'.

I'm a really big fan of Ted Dekker. I finished the book the same day I got it. It's a really good start to the series. It answered some of the questions I had about what happened between the books Black and Red.I can't wait to read the next one.

So, I read Chosen after I got it for Christmas from my mom. And I loooved it! It was so beautiful, and thrilling. How does Dekker manage to write so much awesomeness into one novel? And he's written so many. What a genius. I'm now working on the second book, Infidel. So good!

When I found out about Ted Dekker I didn't know what to expect. I found this book and thought it sounded interesting. When I started reading it I realized that it was very good. I knew that I was going to have to read the whole series as soon as I started the book. This book was a great start to the series and the rest of the series definitley got better. This is a must read series.

Ted Dekker continues to amaze me with all the great works he puts out and how he intertwines the stories. Im still not sure how he will tie them all together in the end.This book is aimed at the YA but is for everyone. It deals with an alternate world where four teens are chosen to become part of the Forest Guard who is at war with the Horde(the desert dwellers). Johnis the main character is unsure of himself and why he was chosen but decides to follow his heart instead of his head. A really great book which also ties into Dekkers Circle trilogy, Showdown, and Skin. I would really recommend checking out this series as well as Dekkers other books. I cant wait to read the rest of this series.

I totally loved this book. I read it this summer and I can't wait until I get the next one in the series. I love scifi/fiction books. When these books have a great message with them, they rock my world. I loved matching together what was going on in the book to how it applies to religion and God.

Chosen is a great start to the History Chronicles! It's great characters make it Johnis,Silvie,Billos,Darsal,and Thomas Hunter.It takes place in captivating forests , Deserts,and a cave.I was so glad I had Infildel on hand because you want to grab it the second you finish Chosen!TWO THUMBS UP!!!!!!!!!

Although it is marketed to the Young Adult crowd the 1st book in the 4 book Lost Books (wow that's a lot of books) Series can be enjoyed by anyone. Ted's writing style is there and it also works plot wise. Speaking of plot if you are enjoying the Books of History Saga than this series will answer a few unanswered questions and will connect the Circle Trilogy and the Project Showdown Trilogy together. Chosen provides an epic start to a truly promising epic series.
