17-year-old Rachel takes a summer job away from home, looking for normalcy after her parents' divorce. There, she meets Australian Josiah, an older guy who lives on a religious compound near her work and they seem to have a lot in common with church, family, and a conservative lifestyle. When Rachel loses her job, she goes to live at the compound and everything seems great, until she begins to discover secrets about her new home. Alone and isolated, Rachel finds herself trapped in a religion that isn't just going to let her go.
