But at times this life can be so tough
It feels like I'm in the wilderness
Many years of my life
Have been a valley experience
My family has had pain and strife
And none of it seems to make sense
Whether in sunshine or rain
When I'm feeling joy or pain
On the mountain or in the valley
You are right beside me
When I'm weak you are strong

You've proven to me You are near
When life gets more than I can bear
I just call on Your name and You hear
I feel your love and know You're there
I can't always be on the mountain
For in the valley is where I grow
Your blood cleanses me like a fountain
It's then that I am white as snow
