Lindsey Adamec of 1 Girl Nation has announced that she is stepping down from the group and pursuing worship music with her husband, and former Provident Label Group artist, Austin Adamec.
Lindsey explained her decision in a video posted to fans today. “I’ve experienced some of the best times in my life as part of 1 Girl Nation. It’s been a dream come true. Lauren, Carman and Caly are my sisters and family, and no matter what life throws at us, that will never change.”
The call to worship is rooted in the couple’s home church in Jacksonville. "As we've been a part of Christ Church,” says Lindsey, "God has shown us that we need to partner together and get back to worship songs. Music will be coming soon. Until then, we have a cover of 'No Longer Slaves.' Thank you so much for your prayers and support. They mean the world to us.”
As far as the future of the group, Lindsey said they will continue with new music coming soon. “I’m really excited what the future holds for them. I love them, and support them.”
