The Afters have released a visually stunning music video for "Live On Forever," the lead single from upcoming album
Live On Forever, set to release March 25.
The video features a man imagining his death in a biking accident and then envisioning the journey into eternity that would follow. The journey through breathtaking landscapes is punctuated by footage of the band performing the song. You can watch the video on The Afters' official website at

On their facebook page, the band shared a C.S. Lewis quote that connects to the core message of the video: "The hills and valleys of Heaven will be to those you now experience not as a copy is to an original, nor as the substitute is to the genuine article, but as the flower to the root, or the diamond to the coal." The band also invites fans to share their feedback and pass the video on to friends.
"When we started writing this song, we were having a discussion about Heaven, and over the last year we've lost some really close friends and family members. Losing the people that you love is one of the most painful things of this life, but this life is not the end, and we were made for so much more than just this world," The Afters singer Josh Havens has shared about the heart behind the song. "Revelation 21:4 describes Heaven as a place where there is no more death, no more sorrow, no more pain, no more crying. It says these things are gone forever, and that's the hope that we hold on to - the hope of everlasting life with Jesus - and that's the hope that 'Live On Forever' is about."
