In a
video posted to YouTube today, pop group
Hawk Nelson is asking for prayers for bass guitarist Daniel Biro who will undergo knee replacement surgery tomorrow, March 9th. "Unfortunately, on Wednesday I have to leave. Going in for another operation. Getting a knee replacement. I'm trusting it's going to be my last one," Daniel shared in the video.
The band is currently out on the road with Tenth Avenue North for the All The Earth Is Holy Ground Tour and says TAN guitarist Ruben Juarez will be filling in for Daniel while he recovers from surgery.
"One of the verses I've clung to the past few years is Psalm 34:19-20. 'The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the Lord delivers him from them all; he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken.'
That's what I'm trusting through all of this. God is protecting me and He's protecting you through all the struggles you're going through," Daniel ended.
Daniel says he'll be checking social media while he's away and even watching the show every night through Periscope. He appreciates your encouragement (which you can send him by going to the band's Instagram page
here) and asks for your prayers tomorrow for God's wisdom, a successful surgery, and that no infection would set in. He plans to be back on the road in the summer.
