Kids In The Way have announced their reunion and plans to make new music as KIDS. The news comes alongside an
indiegogo campaign inviting fans to back two forthcoming EPs, due to release in 2017.
"Utilizing some of the best in the area and a few friends from the past, we will be busting onto the scene once again," founding members David Pelsue and Nathan Ehman share on the indiegogo page. "Please consider supporting us as we challenge the new landscape of music, creativity, and belonging."
The band also shared that they already have material for the expected two EPs written, and fan support will enable them to record and distribute it. KIDS refers to this as "a new chapter and a new journey." Some of the unique items listed as rewards for backers include a signed poetry book from David Pelsue and a personal acoustic show.
Kids In The Way enjoyed notable success in the mid-2000s, in particular with their 2005 release
Apparitions of Melody, released with Flicker Records. They initially disbanded shortly following the release of
A Love Hate Masquerade in 2007, reunited briefly in 2010, and then disbanded again. This will be the most new material the band has released in ten years.
In addition to backing the indiegogo page (

facebook page and
website.
