Courtney Orlando released his latest single "Wait on You" on October 10. You can download the track for free on SoundCloud here. 

Orlando describes the new track as an open conversation between him and God. No future plans of a full length project have been released at this time.
 
The artist formally known as J.R. dug his roots into the hip-hop genre over a decade ago with his debut release Metamorphosis in 2005. Fittingly, change has followed him in the area of style, depth and even branding as he reverted back to his birth name, Courtney Orlando, as a stage name a few years back.

Fast forward to the present, and Mr. Orlando is one of the most respected multi-talented individuals highlighted across several styles of Gospel Music. He's a Grammy award winning songwriter and producer, heavily influencing some of the biggest names in hip-hop and soul. Recently, he produced two tracks from Sho Baraka's The Narrative.

Aside from personal projects, he recently composed a musical score for a new documentary titled Show Me Democracy, directed by Dan Parris and produced by Speak Up Productions. You can watch the trailer here. The film details the lives of seven college students after the events of Ferguson, MS as they dive into racism, police brutality and educational reform.
