Centricity Music is preparing for the holiday season, with many of its artists' releasing Christmas singles today. Each song is available on iTunes and all streaming platforms.
Following her 2016 Dove Award-nominated holiday album, Behold, Lauren Daigle's rendition of "O Holy Night" is at radio this season. Produced by Paul Mabury and Jason Ingram (How Can It Be), Behold achieved No. 1 status on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart last year, where it currently stands again. To date it has sold over 102,000 albums.
Two Centricity acts, Carrollton and Jason Gray, have teamed up for a foot-stomping, lively rendition of "Go Tell It On The Mountain." Benjamin Backus (for KING & COUNTRY, Blanca) and Mark Campbell (We Are Messengers) produced the collaboration.
Gray is also coming out with an original Christmas tune, "Baby King," which he wrote with Ross King, along with the song's producers, again Backus and Campbell. The song hosts a choir of young voices, sharing a message of honor and joy for an unexpected Savior. Gray will perform both songs on his Christmas Is Coming tour, which runs Nov. 30 -- Dec. 17 and features special guests Chris August and Hannah Kerr. Showdates and ticket information available here.
Giving a new spin on a hymn by Keith and Kristyn Getty, JJ Weeks Band is releasing "O Children Come." Scotty Willbanks (7eventh Time Down) produced the track, which features the swing of a horn section and soulful vocals from Weeks.
Unspoken's 2016 holiday single "Christmas Everyday" is back this year. Produced by Tedd T. (David Crowder Band, for KING & COUNTRY), and Jason Walker (Bethel, Britt Nicole), the tune showcases a steady rhythm of pop beats and jingle bells, celebrating the meaning of Christmas yearlong. The band's Christmas Everyday tour, featuring guests Ryan Stevenson, and Austin French, will run Nov. 30 -- Dec. 10. Showdates and ticket information available here.
