EDM duo Capital Kings has announced that they will be parting ways to pursue other ventures.
The announcement came in a
Facebook post which Cole Walowac and Dylan Housewright started by thanking fans for their support and a great year in 2017. Cole explained the decision, sharing "As some of you may know, Dylan and his wife are expecting their first child and recently moved back to California. I have decided to focus on other opportunities but Capital Kings will always have a very special place in our heart."
Fans were quick to voice both their sorrow and their support in the comments on the post. The Gotee Records duo had amassed a significant following throughout their five year tenure. Capital Kings' last and apparently final singles, "Love Is On Our Side," "Don't Want to Wake Up," "Rip It Up" and "All Good" released over the course of this summer. "Love Is On Our Side" was just nominated in the
We Love Christian Music Awards.
Capital Kings concluded with gratitude: "Thank you for being part of this journey and for all the memories the past 5 years, you guys mean the world to us!"
There is no current word on future musical ventures for either artist. To leave your well-wishes for Cole and Dylan, you can find them on
