Skillet and for KING & COUNTRY, two of the top Christian headliners of the past five years, will be teaming up this Spring to headline a monster of a tour.
According to
social media hints, Skillet and for KING & COUNTRY will team up for the "joy.UNLEASHED" tour in Spring of 2018. Both bands have been pointing towards Spotify for the full details of the tour, which will be announced Tuesday, January 23. You can follow Skillet on Spotify
here, and for KING & COUNTRY on Spotify
here.
The tour title is a reference to Skillet's 2016 record
Unleashed and "joy.," the lead single from for KING & COUNTRY's upcoming third studio album. To add to the fan excitement, both bands shared a
screencap of a text conversation between Skillet frontman John Cooper and for KING & COUNTRY co-frontman Joel Smallbone. "Remember when we were on the road in '15?" Cooper asked in the text. "Let's hit it again?" Smallbone responded "Looking forward to spending April with you!" The conversation implies that the tour dates will mostly be in the month of April.
Both bands will be fresh off headlining the winter's biggest tours, with
Skillet anchoring Winter Jam and for KING & COUNTRY leading the
bill for The Roadshow. Stay tuned to NewReleaseToday for more details as they become available.
