Christian rockers Seventh Day Slumber released the official lyric video for their latest single, "Into the Fire."
The lyric video features images of addiction and struggle, culminating in freedom and rebirth. The powerful piece was filmed by Attention to Detail Media, who shared a behind the scenes look at the creative process on their blog (read it by clicking here). You can watch the video below.
"Into the Fire" is featured as the 8th track on the band's 2017 album Found. The song is about how God helps overcome depression: "I'll keep praying for strength / until tomorrow breaks / Falling into the fire has never felt so real." This song is a great reminder of how God can use music to meet people where they are in life. The band is doing their part to do the same. After the recent school shootings, Seventh Day Slumber's Joseph Rojas took to social media to reach out to fans who may be facing hardships on real life issues.
The veteran rockers delivered the video on the heels of being nominated for The Amp Award as part of the 6th Annual We Love Awards. The band presented as part of the awards broadcast. In addition to the new video and award nominations, the band is getting set to head out on the annual City Rockfest Tour.
