In honor of International Women's Day today, YouTube is featuring singer/songwriter Jamie Grace's new "Daughter Of The King" music video on their homepage. "Thank you, YouTube! ahh!!! This message is SO important to me. And the stories that the women in this video share are incredibly inspiring," Jamie shared today. "Today is #internationalwomensday - and I'm celebrating!! i wanna live in a world where every girl, every woman, knows she is BEAUTIFUL! LOVED! and doesn't have to change who she is for that to be true."
The inspiring music video, featuring Jamie's sister and fellow singer/songwriter Morgan Harper Nichols, debuted yesterday and showcases girls and women of all ages talking about discovering their worth. "Yesterday was the most energized i have ever been on a 12 hour shoot. I changed my clothes 4 times, going in between singer and director at the #youtubespacela, filming #DaughterOfTheking with @morganharpernichols, @harpersisters and some of the loveliest girls and women you will ever meet. I cannot WAIT to share their stories," Jamie wrote earlier this month as they filmed the video.
"Daughter Of The King" is from Jamie's third and most recent album, '91, which released last September as Jamie made a powerful comeback from a few years of struggling to release new music. In addition to the new music, Jamie recently announced her engagement to fiance Aaron Collins. The happy couple unveiled their wedding date, April 14th, a few weeks ago alongside an open invitation to the Georgia wedding: "There's gonna be a wedding and everyone's invited!"
