It's been a long wait, but Donald Miller fans can rejoice knowing that new material is coming, and soon.
In an email to his Storyline Conference supporters, the Blue Like Jazz author announced that his first book in four years is coming.
"The book is called Scary Close and it's about all the stuff I learned about intimacy and relationships the year before I got married," he wrote. He also released a preliminary cover image of the new book.
Miller went on to announce that the book would hit stores Feb. 1, 2015--except for people who purchase the top-tier packages at his upcoming Storyline Conference in Chicago starting at the end of this month. Those individuals will receive signed copies a whole 90 days before the rest of the world.
Storyline top-tier folks who register at storylineconference.com before Sept. 18 also will be eligible to have Miller come to their house on a book tour.
"If you're selected, you'll be able to invite your friends over and we'll sit around your living room for a book reading. It should be fun," he said.
Miller's Storyline conference and associated Storyline blog have been the main thrust of Miller's attention the last several years, as he takes the lessons about living a good story for God (that he learned in A Million Miles in a Thousand Years), and bringing it to the masses.
