Egan talks about the heart behind triumphant 'This Changes Everything'

Worship leader Jon Egan (formerly of Desperation Band) has delivered a timely Easter message to the NewReleaseToday audience, via an exclusive YouTube video where he talks about the heart behind his new song "This Changes Everything."
"This is not just some dates on a calendar. This is not just some services that we attend. This is what defines everything for all of humanity," Jon says of Easter weekend. "I want to encourage you to really engage in this weekend with great intentionality. Friday, the death of our Savior. Saturday, siting in that space, wondering what's next and was all hope lost? Was this a failure? And then Sunday morning when the sun comes up and the light breaks through the darkness and Hope shows up."
"The death and resurrection of Christ is something we enter into, so whatever you're walking through right now, it may feel like death and you may not know what's coming, but you can hold that space with hope. We know what's coming-- life is coming, resurrection is coming. It is erupting. It has already come and it is rushing at us. Because He lives, we can live," Jon concludes.
