Today singer/songwriter Jason Gray released his new single "Order Disorder Reorder." Written with Ross King and Justin Amundrud, Jason says the track is a "special one" for him that he is excited to finally share.
"We are being transformed when we are moving along the spectrum from order into disorder into reorder. And that language helps me because historically, whenever I'd go through time of difficulty or pain, I would wonder a few things. I'd wonder 'Oh no, have I done something to make God angry with me? So has He withdrawn His spirit, or is He punishing me, or does he not care, or does He not exist?' So when I'd go through painful experiences, it would throw me into a crisis of Faith...Until I began to understand that chaos, and difficulty, and pain, these were necessary places to go through in becoming a new creation," Jason says of the inspiration behind the song.
"Order Disorder Reorder" follows previously released "I'm Gonna Let It Go" as the second single from Jason's upcoming full-length project, which Jason says is "very meaningful" to him. Follow Jason on Facebook here for continued updates and be on the lookout for the new album coming later this year.
