Local Sound's newest EP, Sunday School, is available everywhere today. Sunday School features five 1990s worship favorites with the trio's pop music spin. The EP includes Local Sound's treasured worship songs like "Shout To The Lord," "Open The Eyes Of My Heart," featuring special guest Paul Baloche as well as the hits "I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever," "Agnus Dei / Heart of Worship" and "Let My Words Be Few." "I grew up listening to these songs," shares Local Sound's Emily Wyant. "They are truly the soundtrack of my childhood. I am honored to be a part of a project that recognizes the beauty and importance of these songs."
Since the songs featured on Sunday School on the EP are globally-known and have been sung in churches around the globe for decades, Local Sound has recorded the songs in both Spanish and Portuguese along with English. The group has been personally impacted by these cultures and wants to honor them with these translations as resources for their local church. The Spanish and Portuguese versions will release in August.
To date, Local Sound has toured with the likes of Mosaic MSC, Cody Carnes, and Mack Brock, and plans are underway for further tour dates this year. The group has also been involved with events such as the Outcry Tour, Desperation Conference, and Camp Electric. For more information, please visit LocalSoundBand.com and their social links here.
