Holly Halliwell is a new Christian Pop artist originally from the Chicagoland area. Holly has been writing and recording music since she was a child. She studied Music at Judson University where she met her husband, Walter. While Holly was still in college, her husband got a job as Tour/Production Manager and Guitar Player for a nationally touring Christian band which Holly later joined as Merch Manager and sponsor representative. Together they toured with bands/artists such as Citizen Way, I AM THEY, The Young Escape, Jason Gray, and many others.
While on tour, Holly had the opportunity to record her debut single, "Your Love," with GRAMMY® award-winning producers, Seth Mosley and X O'Connor. To raise funds for this project, Holly and Walter led a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign and officially launched Holly's career.
Holly started writing "Your Love" in a season of her life where she needed a reminder that only Christ could bring her true fulfillment and not the approval of others, life circumstances, social media, or material possessions. She wanted this song to speak a strong, but simple message to those struggling with those same things–and that message is: nothing compares to God's love.
The song comes from Ephesians 3:19, "May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God."
This song is a celebration of God's unconditional love for His people.
Within a month of releasing "Your Love", it was featured in many popular blogs, newspapers, highly-followed Spotify playlists, and radio stations worldwide. Holly has seen exponential growth in all areas. She is now currently booking shows for the Fall of 2020 and is excited to share her story and encourage audiences everywhere with an uplifting, pop-driven, high-energy show.
