Future of Forestry, the San Diego based musical project of Eric Owyoung, is releasing a series of advent-themed videos each Monday leading up to Christmas.

In the past Future of Forestry has released three Advent EPs, each featuring his haunting, ethereal brand of indie piano and guitar-based stylings. This year the artist is breaking tradition a little bit by featuring videos instead. The first video of the series is "Little Drummer Boy," and can be viewed below.

To make Christmas shopping easier for listeners, the artist is offering special bulk packages of his past Christmas EPs in his webstore. In addition to his Advent video series, Owyoung has spent the year working on projects such as Switchfoot'd Edge of the Earth EP, and is hinting at new things to come for 2015. "I am also secretly working on a new, more mellow project, that will not be released under Future of Forestry," he shared in a facebook post. "I'm also at the beginning stages of a new Forestry full length album. The basic sonic concept has already been established and its more on the epic side than anything I've done so far."
