Brian Scoggin announces that he's stepping away from Casting Crowns for local ministry

Recently on social media, Casting Crowns' drummer Brian Scoggin announced that he will be stepping away from the band and will be stepping into a new season with his local ministry.
"We feel God calling us to step out in faith to be more available for local discipleship, teaching and counseling opportunities; to help people come to know Christ and walk closely with Him and to be committed to seeing Jesus rise to the highest place in the hearts of those whom God is calling to the small church that meets in our home." Brian posted. "We thank you for your love and prayers. We're looking forward to seeing what God has in store! Thank you, Mark Hall and Melanie Hall and the rest of the Casting Crowns family."
