Recently, Contagionfest: Phase II was announced. The two-day show is free and will be hosted by IChristianRock and on their YouTube channel. The first day of the concert will take place on April 23, and the second day will be on April 24.
Headliners include Decyfer Down (TJ Harris acoustic set), Spoken, Gold Frankincense and Myrrh (GFM), and The Protest to name a few.
Contagionfest was created by Mateo Ottie of Christian Rock X and Cole Tyler of iChristianrock as a way to provide a high-quality digital live stream concert experience during the COVID-19 lockdowns. The first annual Contagionfest streamed successfully across multiple platforms in June 2020, having reached over 15,000 people since then. In 2021, they decided to go bigger and better than before.
The second annual Contagionfest: Phase II will be streaming live on April 23rd-24th, 2021, featuring over 30 artists and merch fundraising for Heartsupport, an organization created by Jake Luhrs of August Burns Red dedicated to helping those who are struggling with mental health. Contagionfest has built a strong community of like-minded individuals and we have decided to give back. A portion of the proceeds we make from Contagionfest merch sales will be donated to HeartSupport.
