2. In this installment of Where'd You Hear A Christian Song, we come to Thousand Foot Krutch, who had a song featured on WWE wrestling's pay per view show this week. Kalel from Pillar tweeted about, and as a big time pro wrestlng fan, was quite impressed.
3. Speaking of TFK, the rock band performed during classic rocker Alice Cooper's annual Christmas Pudding benefit event on December 13th in Phoenix. The event benefited Cooper's Solid Rocks teen center, a non profit charity that provides free music as well as free dance lessons to teenagers. Also sharing the stage with TFK and Cooper--who is a born-again Christian--was P.O.D., Jonny Lang and others.
4. Producer Seth Mosley is in the studio with Meredith Andrews, and apparently Meredith brought her own quality control. Her daughter, Frankie, was with her, and there is a picture of the triple-chinned baby with some pink headphones on. You tell ‘em, Frankie!
5. Skillet's going to be out on Winter Jam early this next year, and it looks like they're getting ready for it by shooting some videos that will show on the screens while they perform.
6. Hey for those of you who aren't even rock fans, you'll probably enjoy Flyleaf frontwoman Kristen May's simple keys-and-vocals rendition of Joni Mitchell's "River" this Christmas. It's pretty soothing! She shared the raw performance video on her YouTube and Facebook pages.
7. So many people have rallied around indie pop singer-songwriter Amanda Noelle as she's battling cancer, and Amanda posted a positive update this week. She only has a week left of her first bout of chemo, and scans have shown her tumor is shrinking a lot! She has a long way to go with other treatments and thyroid surgery, but she's feeling tremendously positive, and is praising God the whole way through.
8. While she was in Group 1 Crew, Blanca Callahan was known for appearing on a ton of different artists' tracks, and as she embarks on her solo career in 2015, it looks like we'll be seeing more of the same. Rapper KB recently posted photo with Blanca in the studio, saying he is "blessed to work with her." Catch her on Winter Jam early next year!
