Worship artist Chris Tomlin was the musical guest on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Monday, October 10. Chris performed a pre-recorded live concert rendition of "Holy Forever," the second single from his latest album, Always, released in September.
In a powerful moment, Tomlin sang out the lyrics, "Your name is the highest/Your name is the greatest/Your name stands above them all/All thrones and dominion/All powers and positions/Your name stands above them all," and worshipped with hands raised alongside the live audience in the recorded video.
While introducing Chris, Kelly shared that she grew up attending church camps and events where Chris was worship leading. This isn't the first time Kelly Clarkson has featured a Christian artist as a musical guest on her show. GRAMMY award-winning artists for KING + COUNTRY and Maverick City Music have both performed on the show this year.
This performance is yet another encouraging example of Christian music resonating with wide audiences and being given increasingly more space on daytime talk shows and other mainstream award shows and outlets.
