Recently, singer/songwriter Katy Weirich released the official music video to her song "Blue Jay" from her new EP Out of the Blue.

"Blue Jay" came out of her experience with postpartum depression and anxiety after the birth of her second child. In the story behind the song, Katy revealed that she was nearly hospitalized and was having panic attacks causing her to collapse. During her recovery, she began to see blue jays during her day-to-day activities.

Katy says the blue jays felt like "a hug from God and a tangible reminder that He saw me where I was and that I just had to keep going and to trust that He was right there beside me and would not leave."

Katy's music video for "Blue Jay" shows Katy singing the powerful anthem in a field and picks up with her running and proclaiming the words, "You are carrying me/Sustaining me/You are healing me/Oh, I will be free."
