After ten years of ministry, the season of I AM THEY has come to a close. With songs like "Scars," "Faithful God," and "My Feet Are On The Rock," they have made an impact on so many lives. Even though IAT set out on a fall tour, they knew they needed to celebrate the changing of seasons with one last show at home among their friends and family.
Before this emotional last show, we sat down with Matt, Justin, Nicole, Brandon, and Theresa for one last IAT interview. The personal stories and experiences of the members were varied, but one thing was constant: the most important thing to every member was the worship and ministry that happened when they stepped out on stage.
The name I AM THEY comes from John 17, where Jesus refers to his disciples as 'they' as he prays for them. From the beginning when they were leading worship for an event in Carson City, Nevada, to the final show outside of Nashville, Tennessee, their mission has always been to bring people to Jesus and make disciples... just like the 'they' that Jesus was praying for.
We caught their final interview. Their final prayer. Their final pre-show routine. Their final show. Their final bow. But we will never be able to truly capture the impact I AM THEY has had around the world.
