Internationally recognized praise and worship band Planetshakers globally released "Show Me Your Glory" on April 28 from Venture3Media (V3M). Available now at all major digital and streaming outlets here, the song is the title track of the highly anticipated, full-length album set to debut in July.
Recorded live during the Show Me Your Glory Planetshakers Conference held in Melbourne, Australia, in January 2023 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, "Show Me Your Glory" was produced by Joth Hunt and written by Hunt, BJ Pridham, Andy Harrison, Josh Ham, and Noah Walker. Along with the full Planetshakers band, the voices of thousands attending the conference are heard loudly rejoicing, expressing their heartfelt worship in the nine-minute-plus anthem. The song pushes the emotive, dynamic boundaries of worship.
"When you are thinking about the encounters with the Glory of God that you read about in the scriptures, and then you are thinking about now--what would that sound like?" asks Harrison in an Instagram post.
"There's an awe, the glory is here," answers Ham in the post. "That is the kind of feeling that we wanted to capture."
"Every time we sing 'Show Me Your Glory,' it's like 'Bam!' God is there," expresses Sam Evans. "It's a breather, it's a space for people to go, 'I'm encountering Him, I'm hearing Him.'"
"Just as Moses would not go anywhere unless God's presence accompanied him, we have that same heart's cry," says Pastor Russell Evans. "At this year's conference, people from all over Australia and the world came together with that common passion."
The new track follows the release of Planetshakers' first radio single of 2023, "The Rock," meant to bring hope and encouragement to people globally. Featuring Hunt on lead vocals, "The Rock" was co-written by Hunt along with GRAMMY-nominated and Dove Award-winning Jordan Sapp (who also produced the track) and Krissy Nordhoff.
Taking the new music and fan favorites on the road internationally, Planetshakers' Show Me Your Glory tour stops in Krakow, Poland (June 21), Amsterdam, Netherlands (June 23, 24), Le Blanc-Mesnil, France (June 25), and Manila, Philippines (July 22) before traveling to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for back-to-back sold out events July 28 and 29.
