Popular rock band, RED, has announced a release date, cover, and track listing for their much anticipated eighth studio album, Rated R. The album will release on Friday, September 29, 2023 with the first single, "Surrogates," dropping on Friday, August 3, 2023. 

The band has been hyping the album for well over a year, and in a video posted on June 16, they celebrated the announcement by opening a plaque from YouTube for passing 100,000 subscribers and teased a hard-hitting sample of the upcoming single.

"For the past couple of decades, we've been working with long-time producer, Rob Graves," shared the group. "This time, we decided it was our turn. Anthony produced this album all the way through and he killed it. It's more than we could ever ask for. We also worked with Joe Rickard. He was the mix engineer of this record as well as on Declaration [2020], and was a co-writer with 'Surrogates,' so we're pumped to have him still be part of the RED legacy."

The band also announced that a music video is coming in early September with lots of announcements and easter eggs coming before then along with the announcement of the upcoming Rated R tour that will be hitting America and Europe in September.
