Worship leader Brad Alden is premiering his new video for one of his latest singles, "Awake The Soul In Me," on NewReleaseToday. You can watch it below.
Alden penned the inspirational track with his wife Danielle Mowry and Tyler Ray Logan. When sitting down to write the song, the trio were discussing different things going on in the world, and their own lives, and looking to scripture for inspiration - they became consumed and passionate about the idea of God bringing new life, and a fresh wind to dry bones and dry spirits.
"For the first several years of our marriage, my wife Danielle and I would worship in many places with just the two of us and an acoustic guitar," shares Alden. "It lends itself to a really intimate experience for all. Since 'Awake the Soul in Me' is really just a prayer that we are singing, I think that a stripped-down version feels very personal and connects to people in a different way. There is a really sincere feeling with acoustic worship and it's one of our favorite ways to serve together."
"Awake the Soul in Me" acoustic performance video is the follow-up to the live performance of the worship anthem that the seasoned singer/songwriter and worship leader Brad Alden released last month. The song was originally performed live at Coastline Community Church, where Alden currently serves, and it debuted in the Top 50 on iTunes ® Christian Singles Chart. The track is now available across all digital platforms.
