Israel Houghton, David & Tamela Mann, Kirk Franklin, Tye Tribbett, The Clark Sisters, New Breed, The Family, and God's Property join forces for fall 2023 tour
News has already traveled fast, and people are buzzing over the recent announcement. Gospel artists are joining forces for The Reunion Tour, launching in the fall. The tour features Israel Houghton, David & Tamela Mann, Kirk Franklin, Tye Tribbett, and The Clark Sisters. These artists have led many to Christ with their music and accumulated many awards and accolades as individual artists. Now they have decided to unite for what looks to be the tour of a lifetime.
Kirk Franklin is reuniting with his former group, The Family, and the God's Property choir, the latter of which was started by Linda Searight. Kirk and The Family burst on the scene in 1993 with the album, Why We Sing, taking Gospel music by storm and never looking back. They won several Dove Awards, Stellar Awards, Soul Train Awards, and GRAMMY Awards while inspiring many young and old. David and Tamela Mann were members of The Family, making the reunion even sweeter.
God's Property was a youth choir started by Mrs. Linda Searight. This talented group of singers was led by Mrs. Searight and gained the attention of Kirk Franklin. After doing some dates with Kirk Franklin, he produced their massive album, God's Property, which went triple platinum. Kirk then released the Nu Nation Project in 1998, featuring both The Family and God's Property.
Israel Houghton's New Breed will also be a part of the tour, rounding out a tour that will be discussed for years.
