Recently, nine-time GRAMMY Award nominee and Curb | Word Entertainment artist Natalie Grant released "We Will Stand" with guest vocalists, including pop hitmaker Tauren Wells, Gospel sensation Jekalyn Carr, and chart-topping family trio CAIN.
Co-written and originally recorded 40 years ago by the legendary Russ Taff, "We Will Stand" was a wildly successful trailblazer for the genre, incorporating influences from rock to pop and gospel. CCM Magazine has named the song one of the top 100 Contemporary Christian Music songs of all time. This star-studded rendition adds new depth to the iconic song with a multi-generational and multi-genre twist and brings some of today's top artists together for the first time, resulting in a timely message of love and unity.
"I grew up listening to Russ Taff, first with The Imperials and then as he became a solo artist," shares Grant. "This song takes me back--from singing it in church to singing in the car with my family on road trips. What's so amazing to me is how relevant this message still is. These lyrics could have been written today. I'm so grateful for Tauren, Jekalyn, and CAIN--what they've contributed will help bring this song to life for a whole new generation."
