Recently on social media, former EDM duo Capital Kings surprised fans across social media by announcing their comeback.

The duo shared to their page on June 16 with a short video containing the word "LOADING" before posting again on June 23 with another quick video hyping fans up for their return, with the caption reading "WE'RE BACK."

Capital Kings followed up the videos by announcing the release of their upcoming single, "Higher," due on July 7. Although they haven't shared who will be in the lineup, their recent posts hint that the original duo, Jon and Cole, will be the ones making the comeback.

The news comes five years after Capital Kings disbanded in early 2018 to pursue other ventures. The Gotee records duo have grown a large fanbase being one of the top Christian EDM acts and releasing their two albums along with several singles, including the hits "Fireblazin' (feat. Chris Tomlin)," "All Good (feat. Hollyn)," "Into Your Arms," "I Feel So Alive," and "Love Is On Our Side."
