The Gospel Music Association, home of Christian music's Dove Awards, is set to open the Dove Center and Gospel Music Museum in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2025.
GMA president Jackie Patillo said the Dove Center will be located just one block from the historic Ryman Auditorium at the corner of Fourth and Commerce.
In a Vimeo video, Patillo said the Dove Center and Gospel Music Museum is being developed to "preserve the legacy of our historic past, support the impact of today's artist and plant seeds for the future."
"We believe the Dove Center will be a beacon of light for the kingdom of God. It'll also be a key part of the GMA's mission to expose, promote, and celebrate the gospel through music," she said.
The GMA recently held its 54th annual Dove Awards, which gave out accolades to Brandon Lake (Songwriter of the Year, Artist of the Year), Elevation Worship (Worship Album of the Year for LION: Live From The Loft), Tasha Cobbs Leonard (Gospel Worship Album of the Year for Hymns (Live)), Skillet (Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year for Dominion: Day of Destiny) and more.
