1. If you're a Skillet fan, better known as a Panhead, the time has come to prove it. Skillet has been rallying their fans in the annual Billboard fan face off, inviting them to prove their dedication against a multitude of mainstream fanbases.
2. Artist Austin Adamec is part of bringing Ron Luce's longstanding teen ministry Acquire the Fire across the globe. For the first time ever, an Acquire the Fire event is being held in Myanmar in Southeast Asia. Austin expressed his gratitude for everyone who is praying for the ministry.
3. Following a social media scavenger hunt, Colton Dixon has announced the details for two new EPs. Calm will hold acoustic reimaginings of some of his hit songs, while Storm will consist of remixes. Both EPs will release in September.
4. Ryan Stevenson has always had a close relationship with his mentor TobyMac, but now he's taken it to the next level. Ryan's niece and nephew got an adorable new dog this week, and guess who they named it after? That's right: they now own a puppy named TobyMac.
5. Worship rockers Seventh Day Slumber are working on a new album, and this week they called in some reinforcements. Kevin Young, lead singer for Disciple, joined the band in the studio to lend guest vocals on a track.
6. Rapper Andy Mineo is in London, and he posted a bold invitation alongside a picture of the iconic Big Ben. He shared a number, inviting London fans to text him. No word on how fast his inbox filled up!
7. If you've enjoyed songs by Hillsong, Francesca Battistelli and for KING & COUNTRY, chances are high that you've enjoyed the songwriting skills of Mia Fieldes without knowing it. The awarded writer is finally stepping in front of a mic herself with brand new EP Ashes, available now.
