Like many other people, I first encountered Andy Mineo's music through Lecrae's "Background". Later, I came across his CD "Formerly Known" on Noisetrade and since I recognized his name, I downloaded it. I listened to it a bit, but I'm not usually a rap person, so I didn't pay close attention to it at the time. After I saw him at Lifelight Music Festival in 2012, I went back and listened to the whole CD again and looked up Andy's story. I just have to say WOW. All of the music on that CD is amazing, and the story behind it just makes it so much more special. God bless you, Andy.
