Very rocker, very cool | Posted September-11-2008
This is a pretty good album for Brooke Barretsmith. I can see why Pillar chose her to be on their 'For The Love of The Game' tour. 'Quiet Streets' definitely expresses that. She definitely has those heartfelt songs like 'Right Now', 'More Real', 'Quiet My Heart' 'Breakthrough' 'Father'. Even though some lyrics have a more soft feeling she still makes it work with a guitar. There are very rock-ish songs. 'Farewell' really helps with everyday life Say farewell/ To all of your mistakes/ Forgive yourself/ It's a brand new day. The one I love the most would have to be 'Paper Tigers'. It is close to a parody but it does have a lesson. You have some people around you that are your enemies. EXACTLY what this song brings. This could easily take as a half BarlowGirl 'How Can We Be Silent.' Very excellent. I really like this album.

Lovely | Posted June-28-2008
This is one of my favorite albums because it has so much meaning. There's a fight between happiness and sorrow in this album and it helps you through different moods.
My personal favorites are "Come To Me" and "The Way I Am". The lyrics are amazing and the lesser rocker style makes it look like she has a little softer side to her music. "Light Of The World" is the sofest song in the world. She did a great job adding Toby McKeehan to the album. "Charity" is a great love song. "In Two (The Lament)" is a sorrowful song but is just as same "Light Of The World". "Breathe On Me" makes the flame engulf you. "By and By" takes what's going on and makes you forget it. "Fall Down" I don't really get but it still is a great song to the album. "Sing Mary Sing" is an amazing Christmas song, focusing on Mary's story instead Jesus'. "Around Me" isn't one of my favorites because of the way it's laid out but it asks questions. She certainly has questions for God. "Say Won't You Say" is another love song maybe from God's perspective. "Come To Me", the most beautiful song in the world. On the love songs Jennifer Knapp sings beautifully and makes it dance in your mind. "No Regrets", the ending song. The ending song that ends the album peacefully and soothes you. The violin's are a nice touch and they know how to calm your spirit.
Jennifer Knapp is a wonderful songwritter and knows how to make her lyrics move and come alive.

AMAZING!!! | Posted June-10-2008
Tenth Avenue North's debut album is the most wonderful things I have ever listned to. 'Love Is Here' is an amazing song and I am now hearing it on the radio. Mike Donehey really moves the lyrics on the 'By Your Side', 'Times', 'Hold My Heart', 'Beloved', 'Lovesick', and 'You Are'. I gave it 5 stars because all the words speak escpecially those six I listed together.

'Break Me Down' has a little rock theme to it and stands out from all of the other songs. 'Lift Us Up To Fall' speaks as a hymn, which is a nice touch to the album. Overall this album should be on a list to buy in the future for people who love this stuff.

How many ways can I say Skillet completely ROCKS! | Posted June-19-2008
This album is my favorite from Skillet. This album had two CHR hits, "The Older I Get" and "The Last Night". "The Last Night" is much of a melody and hits the soft spot. They have a diverse Evanesence sound on "Whispers In the Dark". "Rebirthing" has an amazing sound and just heats up until the chorus but it also comes out as a little Evanesense familiarity. The chorus has an amazing touch to it and I love the duet between Korey and John on the song, "Comatose" also has the nice touch like "Rebirthing". "Better Than Drugs" is another favorite of mine with the saying that God is better than drugs. "Looking For Angels" gives a lot of wordly happenings. "Those Nights" I guess is a story about a fight but people love the song whether it talks about a fight or not and it has a great pop-ish sound to it. Good work John!. "Yours To Hold" is a great soft song and leaves a nice melody to touch this album. "Falling Inside the Black" is not really a favorite of mine but it still touches the listener. "Say Goodbye" is another one of those that isn't one of my favorites but another one that touches the listener. I still give it 5 stars because John Cooper has great song writing and knows how to put songs together. You get a great deal of different music on this album. This is a good album to buy for those who like the grungy rock sort of thing.

WOW | Posted March-25-2008
I love this album so much! I love all the songs and the nice tune they have. Lonely Nation is especially my favorite. No other song on this album can top it. Politicians is another favorite of mine. I love the way they rock out on the song. Stars and We Are One Tonight are next. Stars, I have heard some on the radion but We Are One Tonight I'm just getting used to.
Golden and Daisy are next on my top six. They have the nice calming acoustic guitar and very little drums. Daisy almost put me to sleep because it was so calming.
For the end of my review all I can say, get this album it is sooo awesome!!! Switchfoot rocks!

A great album from Starfield! | Posted March-25-2008
I listened to it, I loved it. I Will Go is an amazing song that they have written. They have more great songs on this album. Each, a great worship song. If people want to listen to Christian music for the first time, they are highly recommeded.

Great album by Kutless | Posted March-16-2008
There are so many great songs on this album! Shut Me Out is my favorite out of all of them. It's the cornerstone of this great album. The music video really makes a standpoint with the song. Promise Of A Lifetime is an amazing song. It's true to every word. Winds of Change is another great song that meets what God does on the inside. The rest of the songs are great. Great for anybody who loves Christian music

One of my faves | Posted March-14-2008
I like this album of the songs I've heard so far, Many Funerals, Invasion, and Come Clean. Invasion is one of my favorite songs because it has this nice sound to it and has this weird spacey feeling to it between some words. The music video is a nice one!
