Kirk Franklin | Posted September-29-2009
This is a truly amazing CD and is a Christian music classic. This song has so many hits, making it one of Kirk Franklin's albums to date (possibly the best). I would recommend this album to everyone.

This album is an instant classic. Songs like Loved On Me, Celebrate, Not Just What You Say and Make Time for love make this CD really special. This is classic Fred Hammond.

Seems Pretty Solid | Posted August-19-2009
Awake is the upcoming release from Christian Rock Band, Skillet. Having heard of Skillet but never actually checking them out, I decided that since it was convenient that I would check them out. I listened to the album all the way through and it seems solid but I may have to listen to it again and let it marinate before I decide if I like this group and their latest release.

Amazing! | Posted August-17-2009
Sound of Melodies is the first release by the Texas-based group Leeland. I didn't know anything about Leeland until after their second album was released and when I did finally hear of them I wasn't interested. My disinterest was due to the fact that my musical preferences do not usually include rock or CCM. One day, I decided I should listen to some rock to see if there was anyone worth listening to in my opinion. I remembered Leeland and decided to give them a listen. I listened to their material from their second album and wasn't sold on them until...I came across music from "Sound of Melodies." Soon after I purchased this album and I am still constantly amazed by this group's talent.

Tye Tribbett | Posted August-12-2009
I have all three albums by Tye Tribbett and I'd have to say that this one is my favorite. The album starts out with the energy filled track "I Want It All Back." This song is about revenge on the devil, taking back everything he stole as said on the line "I want revenge and I want everything back from A to Z." This is one of my favorite songs on the album along with Everything Will Be Alright, Who Else but God, Sinking and the album's title track Victory and Victory Check. This album is filled many amazing tracks from an amazing group of singers. What I love about Tye Tribbett and G.A. is that they have so much passion and energy and they love to have fun but when it's time to slow it down, they will do so and they do it effectively.

Flame. | Posted August-10-2009
Our World Redeemed is part two of Flame's Our World albums. Our World Redeemed in my opinion, is better than part one, Our World Fallen because even though this album is someone slow, I feel it is more upbeat than Our World Fallen. Another reason for this is that Our World Fallen focuses on the sin in the world but Our World Redeemed deals more with our life in Christ. Also, this album has one of my favorite songs of all time,"Joyful Noise" featuring two other amazing artists, Lecrae and John Reilly. I strongly recommend this album to anyone who wants to hear an amazing album.

Reach Records artist Lecrae's sophomore album proves to be another amazing release. The album opens up with a bang on the album's title track "After the Music Stops" and closes with the hidden track Leap of Faith/Jump. For anyone who is looking for an amazing Christian rap artist and an amazing album, I would recommend listening to "After The Music Stops" or any other Lecrae release. I hope you won't be disappointed.

Lecrae | Posted July-21-2009
The album is a certified banger. Lecrae outdid himself with this one, it was one of my favorites of 2008. I love Lecrae and his music because they are both all about Christ's glory.

One Prayer Away | Posted July-21-2009
One Prayer Away deals with the broken relationship of Mitchell and Virtue. Mitchell and Virtue, who started out as the perfect couple in their courtship and in their marriage, headed down a turbulent path after the death of Mitchell's grandparents. Mitchell, who feels responsible for their deaths, turns to the alcoholic to nurse his wounds. Virtue tries her best to be there for Mitchell but as he continues to drink, he begins to abuse Virtue. Virtue stays by his side until he hits her a second time, causing her to fall and leaving with a physical scar, one that constantly reminds her of her past emotional turmoil. As Virtue tries to overcome her emotional pain and life without Mitchell, she has an unexpected encounter with Mitchell and is forced to deal with her hidden pain once again. Mitchell, who hasn't seen Virtue in years, has a newfound determination to set the record straight with her. One Prayer Away is a novel that deals with pain, true love and forgiveness and I would recommend it.

Good Cd. | Posted July-21-2009
This was my most played CD of 2007. It is also one of my favorite Christian Rap Cd's. When I first heard the single "Who Am I?", I was eager to hear the rest of the album. The album was so good that I had to put it down for awhile because I overplayed it. This album was great!
