Beautiful Lumps Of Coal

Plumb Plumb's Beautiful Lumps of Coal is one of the top 10 best Christian albums of all time. Period. From the opening song to the closing, it is fantastic pop perfection. Best tracks: Free, Sink n'Swim,...
Christmas

Francesca This CD is absolute pop music perfection. There is not one bad song on the album...from the originals to the classics...you will never skip a trick. Her jazzed up versions of "The Christmas...
Mark Schultz

Mark An all around solid album. It has been quite some time since I have heard it, may need to dig it out my collection!
Though it's been awhile, I still feel that "I Am The Way"...
Not the best arrangement... | Posted July-06-2012
This album is OK...it hits the "biggies" like "On My Knees" and "God So Loved" and it is not to have "I Will Rest in You" and "God Loves You"--which aren't on Jaci's solo albums...however, I don't like the arrangement of songs--especially starting off with 3 ballads in a row. Just buy Jaci's CDs or download mp3s of your choosing and skip this "best of."
A Good Effort | Posted July-06-2012
This is actually a good Christmas album...a very Amy Grant feel to it and sure to put you in the holiday mood. While Jaci may have needed to tone down some of her diva-like booming vocals on some tracks, it is an enjoyable release. "It Wouldn't be Christmas" is beautiful, as is "The First Noel" and "I'll be Home for Christmas." "The Chipmunk Christmas Song" and "Feliz Navidad" are a lot of fun.
Jaci's back! | Posted July-06-2012
After some so-so albums, Jaci comes back shining...yes, like a Diamond! A true delight, this album contains one of my (now) favorite Jaci songs: Stay and the lovely Good Morning Sunshine...Also worth listening to are Girl (though the theme of the song has been overdone), Trust in You, and the title track.
The remakes of her classics are phenomenol...she really breathed new life into her old songs and they are, in my opinion, better than the originals.

The lead single off this album (God So Loved) was, in my opinion, very boring....however, there are some great, underrated tracks here...
The best song, by far, is "Glory" and could have easily found a place on pop charts at the time. "Made my World" and "Show You Love" are also fantastic songs. "You" is a pretty ballad.
There are some songs that fall flat, but overall, this album actually holds up better than her debut,

"If This World"--Jaci's first single (ever) will always be one of my all-time favorite songs...and it will always have a VERY special meaning to me. That being said, listening to this album as an adult, I'm not as big of a fan as I was when it was first released. Still, though, the lyrics are fantastic--On my Knees, Flower in the Rain...lovely songs...I just prefer a little more bounce to my tunes nowadays. The songs that are indeed "bouncy" are simply not my favorite....

Ah, yes, I had this lovely VHS when I was a child. I LOVED it!
It really gives the viewer an intimate, fun look at Jaci. The music videos are a wonderful touch as well...and I believe there was some "making of" Footage of her "God So Loved" music video as well. I watched this many times.
