Alien Youth by Skillet Alien Youth by Skillet
After "Best Kept Secret" from the album Invincible, this album was really the one that put Skillet on the map for me. Alien Youth boasts a more electronic sound ripped with heavy guitars and drums, plus...
Collide (Re-Release) by Skillet Collide (Re-Release) by Skillet
Skillet's follow-up to Alien Youth, this album was even better than the one before... A harder sound, more intense lyrics and just an all-around amazing album, this was what set Skillet on fire for me...
Comatose by Skillet Comatose by Skillet
The best Skillet album to date, Comatose takes it up yet another notch... This band has snowballed since the success of Alien Youth and gets better and better with every album they produce. Comatose provides...

The Definitive Demon Hunter | Posted February-28-2008
What I believe to be truly their best album, this CD contains a great mix of the headbanging sound we've come to know and love from them while also offering up ballads like "Deteriorate" and "One Thousand Apologies" and my personal favorite "The Tide Began to Rise". A bit of a surprising sound for them, this album offers everything a Demon Hunter fan could want.

The Best Gets Better | Posted February-28-2008
After the release of what I believe to be their best album, they top it off with a special edition CD/DVD combo. For any fan of acoustics and any true fan of Demon Hunter, hearing the unplugged sound is a definite plus while the DVD gives real insight into the lives of members of this band. An all around win for any buyer.

Back With A Vengeance | Posted February-28-2008
Demon Hunter keeps it coming with their fourth album and does not disappoint... staying true to their headbanging metal sound, they added some more of their own personality to this album with the use of piano in "Thorns" and the funeral scene portrayal in the new ballad "Carry Me Down". Some of the best Demon Hunter has to offer but, in my opinion, still not quite enough to beat out their third album, "The Triptych".

The Best Soul Embraced Yet | Posted February-28-2008
in my opinion, this is soul embraced's best album by far... it's the most structured and the most melodic in terms of the music and it strays slightly from their thrash metal history... it also integrates more vocals with their usual screaming style and creates a really nice sound... perfect for those who appreciate true metal...
