Creative Rock | Posted August-24-2007
Anberlin has developed and grown on every CD they have came out with. This CD is no exception. I like this CD the best out of all their CDs.
The first song on the CD is an intro that is slow. It then leads right into the next track "Godspeed" that hits with a driving rock sound. It sets the tone for the CD and the band shows that they know how to rock.
The last track "(*Fin)" starts off as a slow rock track that later builds into driving rock music. It shows the great vocal talent that Stephen has. The children's choir adds to the strength of the song. It is a long track but is worth listening to every bit of it.
This CD is great creative rock that is worth getting the whole CD not just a couple tracks.

Great acoustic rock EP. | Posted August-20-2007
This a great stripped down acoustic rock EP by Pillar. There are four live acoustic tracks and two studio recordings. "Further From Myself" is such a great song.

This band is a great rock band that I think soon will get signed to a major label. They have a great live show and the music is done well. If you like rock music check this band out.

Nice remix CD. | Posted August-19-2007
I'm not a big fan with remix CDs. Most remix CDs are just the same songs but a little different. However this one is very good. It is a creative remix CD. Gives a different taste on the Welcome to Diverse City songs.

The Skillet debut CD. | Posted August-19-2007
This CD came out in 1996 when I was in high school. It was my first CD that was hard rock that had screaming in it. It was a CD that got me into more harder rock. I'm glad that they are still putting CDs out because they are a great band that is all about serving Christ through making music.

Good, but different from the others he has came out with. | Posted August-19-2007
I decided to pre-order this CD because it was Jeff's new CD. I have all his CDs and have followed him since he was in Sonicflood. I heard it first when I got the mp3 tracks after I pre-ordered the CD. The music is the same style that he has on his last CDs. The thing that is different is he doesn't speak in between songs and he doesn't have the recording at the end other and him them praying over the record. The lyrics don't go as deep as his last CDs.
I do still like the CD but expected it to be a little more like what I've come to know his music and lyrics to be.
Let me know what you think. Thanks.

These guys know how to rock hard and well. | Posted August-18-2007
This CD just released this week (August 14). I first listened to the whole CD online to make sure I wanted to buy the CD. I was not disappointed. I bought the CD and have listened to it often since. I have the first two CDs of theirs and this CD rocks like the first two. They did tone it down on some of the songs but I know that they are looking to get some radio play. I think that they will get some radio play.
"Anthem For The Underdog," "Adrenaline," and "Games You Play" rock hard and the music is great hard rock music. "Lie To Me" is their first single that is a great rock song and is on both Christian rock radio and mainstream radio. "It Was You" is talking about that it was God that showed him who he is and to stand up for what is real. "Broken Road," "World So Cold," and "Hey Love," are more slower or medium songs that are well done even that they are more known for their harder rock songs. The last track is "Lie To Me" that is acoustic. I really like his vocal on this track. He sings a bit different than the original track but goes well with the track being acoustic.
If you like hard rock music check this CD out.

Great New CD | Posted August-18-2007
I got this CD in the music resource that I get for the youth ministry that I lead. I sat down and listened to the CD and read the lyrics too. The lyrics are thought out and have many Scripture passages for each song. Casting Crowns is again speaking to the church and Christians on this CD. It challenges all of us to follow what Scripture says about different topics. I also like that Casting Crowns doesn't just focus on the band but are ministers at their local church. I think that this helps keep their lyrics saturated in Christ. I also like that the lead singer is a youth pastor. If you like Casting Crowns first two CDs you will like this one.
