Still one of my favs | Posted April-20-2008
I have had this album for a year and I still don't get tired of listening to it. I like the mix of songs. You have a good mix of heavier rockin stuff and emotional mellow tracks that you can feel. The vocals and musicianship on this album are top notch and the hooks are catchy. Their style sort of reminds me of Linkin Park, but really have a sound of their own. I would recommend this to anyone.

Let me say first that back in the day The Altar Boys were the greatest. I wore this album out. The music has emotion and the lyrics talked about subjects that were tough to talk about. The song Final Hour is probably my favorite. It had a cool guitar riff and lyrics about Jesus final hour. Just a great album from a great group.

For the Love of Pillar | Posted April-17-2008
What can I say? This new album from Pillar is one of their best. Each track has it's own character. The musicians seem to have more freedom to express themselves. The drum tracks alone are something to behold. Overall this album rocks. Even the slow song in the middle is very good and catchy. I would definitely recomend this to anyone who likes Pillar and anyone who likes good solid rock music.
