If you're looking for a choir with the ability to not only sing, but bring a powerful message and exude anointing, look no further! Gateway College's new album carries a variety of genres all jam-packed in one album. They open up with a hand-clapping and toe-tapping "Great God" which was written by a new, talented songwriter Kyle Brown. The title track explains it all. It makes us review our walk with God: either we live for Him or we don't. There is no in-betweens or grey areas! "Psalm 96" with it's contemporary rock feel, breaks up all ideas of "typical choir" and hails an anthem of praise. My personal favorite is the last song "I Made It Before". For all you gospel lovers, you will have a heyday with this track. It takes us back to old shoutin' times and exclaims with boldness "if God has brought me through before, He'll do it again!" If you are a musician or a music director this project has a lot of usable material for your small groups and choirs. You don't want to miss this album!

Once again Tye Tribbett and G.A. coming out full throttle with another power-packed album. "Stand Out!" insists that we stand against the powers of darkness and the ways of the world. Once again the group infuses a gospel with funk and R&B, and even throws in some uptempo church numbers. This CD is packed with some strong messages. I give this CD a rating of SM for Spiritually Mature audiences only! It will challenge you and take you to new heights!
It Will Change Your World! | Posted May-30-2008
Martha Munizzi's new release is very fresh, vibrant, and catchy. It opens with a powerhouse "Invincible God" which declares the very majesty of God. Once again as a worship leader she breaks all cultural barriers and reminds us that it doesn't matter where we are or where we come from. We all have the "Favor of God". "Wrap Me In Your Arms" is a worshipful, intimate ballad written by Michael Gungor in which Munizzi and Houghton share the stage. She ends the CD with the rock-driven title track "Change The World" challenging each and everyone of us to take the love of God to a lost and dying world. I would encourage any music minister who is looking for fresh, anointed music to buy this CD. You will not be disappointed!

Rachael Lampa once again offers a new twist to her vocal offerings. Rachael pushes herself with a new sound and heartfelt lyric. This self-titled project offers the listener encouragement through life's ups and downs and relays a message of hope and spiritual belonging. From her bold rock offering "All This Time" to the soft acoustic ballad of "Room", this project proves a new side of this powerhouse vocalist. This project was also produced by Tommy Sims, who is no stranger to the music industry. Robert Randolph also makes a guest appearance with his rockin pedal steel guitar skills on "Good Life". Overall, this CD is worth the listen and terrific add to any collection.
