I'VE BEEN REVIVED!! | Posted September-01-2016
Now ska is a genre of music that has not been in my ears for years until 2010. It was on JCTV (JUCETV) that I saw these guys performing a reunion show at Spirit West Coast after five years of being apart. After looking up this band and their purpose, I got hooked!!!

Hearing their songs, I truly believe, without a doubt, these guys are in love with Jesus. All of their records are great but this one connects with me. I can really relate to what the songs are saying. Overall, this record is fun, energetic, and upbeat. That is what this band is all about: "Preach the gospel, reach your heart, and ska, ska, ska!" Some of my favorites are "Superfly", "Brand New Thing", "Hold On To Jesus", "Attitude", "Perfect Love", "Fire", "Forever", and "Glory Hallelujah". Who says you cannot rock with horns?? Shout out to Darren "Chief" Mettler on trumpet and Daniel "Mad-Dog" Spencer on trombone bringing the energy in the songs. This is music unlike any other. If you love rock that is crazy and sold out for Christ, I highly recommend this record!

J.C. Is In The House!! | Posted September-01-2016
So many people ask who is my favorite artist out of all the ones you love. My immediate response is "Carman" because when I was a child, my parents introduced me to this artist's music. This record was the first Christian record when I was five years old. Every song has a message of celebration and declaration. From track one to track ten, you can literally tell the gospel of Jesus Christ is not compromised. Favorite songs are "Who's in The House", "The River", "Lord, I Love You", and "America Again". That's what I love about this artist. Whenever he comes to your city for a concert, it is uplifting, fun, and anointed. If it weren't for Carman, I would not be in love with Christ radically today. To this day, I still support this man of God and be his biggest fan. He is and always will be my inspiration in music. I suggest his music to anyone who needs encouragement and inspiration.

JESUS IS THE WAY | Posted September-01-2016
The album literally speaks for itself. Each track takes you on a journey somewhere beyond belief. When I heard the whole album, I really understood why people considered DC Talk as Christian music's favorite. I would definitely want to see this group come back to life again. I recommend young listeners to pick up this album and be blown away by the impact this record made on everyone's life including mine.

MOMENTUM IS BEYOND AMAZING!!! | Posted September-01-2016
When I first started listening to DC Talk in 2007, I went down a road of nostalgia and enjoyment. One particular member obviously stood out to me and that is the man himself, TobyMac. I looked at his discography and one album gave me a flashback of a song I heard when I was little called "Irene". The cover photo was the same photo in the WOW Hits 2003 album. So, I decided to give the whole album a listen. After listening, I was literally hooked and cannot get away from the album. If rapcore is something you're interested in, I recommend "What's Going Down", "Yours", and "Get This Party Started". "Somebody's Watching", "Wonderin' Why", "Love Is In The House" and "Do You Know", which is my overall favorite selection on the record, are there for those who love laid back and feel good, mellow rhythms. Crazy, energetic songs are something I always particpate for! "J Train", "Extreme Days", and "Momemtum" are those kind of songs that will have your blood pumping and soul rejoicing. Overall, this record is so diverse in sound and literally will uplift you to higher dimensions.
