Beautiful | Posted September-19-2013
This is one of my favourite Phil Wickham albums. Beautiful is the first track I ever heard from this artist, and it took my breath away. It really captures God's character and beauty, and the Kingdom of Heaven. If a song does that, then, I might be so bold as to say that it has done what God has intended of it - to bring Him glory - because after all, that's what it's all about. This album has many good tracks, definitely worth a listen.

Phil Wickham has an awesome voice and on this album it is united with beautiful lyrics and good instrumental edits. I love how upbeat Divine Romance is, it shows the simpler side of the relationship that God desires with his children. Crumble To Pieces is also a noteworthy track on Phil Wickham's self-titled album.

It is really great to see artists growing. This album is a display of how Phil Wickham is growing and developing as an artist. As for the songs, I first heard some of them on the Shane & Shane tour promos, so I was expecting a high quality recording of the trio. Though Shane & Shane do not feature on this album they are not too sorely missed as Phil Wickham does the songs justice. This Is The Day is so catchy, I can happily put it on repeat. That being said, All I Want Is You is my favourite track from Response; it is mellow, nice harmonies and the lyrics reflect the answer that this generation is searching for.

Heaven and Earth | Posted September-19-2013
This album is much more alternative than previous albums with its use of synths and modulation - overall quite a different sound to his other stuff. He brings the love of God to life by painting poetic lyrical pictures across each track. Eden is raw but that reflects the meaning of the song, back to basics - just like in Eden. Cielo is one of my favourite Phil Wickham tracks. But Because Of Your Love is the track that never gets old, it's the one I will listen to before going back to listen to the album through.

Very good indeed | Posted August-08-2013
Lead Me To The Cross is a song from the heart, Brook Fraser also performs it very well on this album - not that it is about performance. Point Of Difference, what a great song. The message is fantastic. My Future Decided, one of my favourite praise songs. You is good but they have done better versions of it. Overall this album is pretty good. I can see why it charted so highly on Billboard.

One of my favourites | Posted August-08-2013
This is a fantastic album! I don't know where to start. Instrumentally, they dont miss a beat. Lyrically, these arent just repetitive hooks with a few half decent verses, I believe these songs show God's heart.

Mixed opinions | Posted August-08-2013
In my opinion this album is not one of United's best. This could be due to the fact that it is an older album. I find the tempos much slower than the standard recordings of praise songs like Tell The World and Look To You - on this album they are at a middle almost awkward tempo. This album does have some really good songs though; There Is Nothing Like and Shout Unto God are repetitive but awesome to get you to that place of heart-abandoned worship because you dont have to worry about lyrics

well made album | Posted August-08-2013
I like the structure of this album, the selah's give you time to meditate on God in your own way with your own words which is cool. This album has the farourites like Take It All and From The Inside Out so you can't really go wrong. The Stand is by far the best song on this album and this is one of the best versions United has done of it.

great album | Posted August-08-2013
This album is full of songs that come from the heart, not just 3min songs cranked out to satisfy market objectives. Go - A youth conference favourite with lots of energy. They do Chris Tomlin's Awakening justice also. Personally, I prefer male singers over female singers but Bones is an amazing song.
