The first time i heard about Eric Metaxas and this book was on a radio show a while ago. The way Mr. Metaxas talked about Bonhoeffer made me very interested in this book. Being from Germany myself but not growing up in a Christian household , i was curious to find out what a German Christian life was ,especially during Hitler's time. Bonhoeffer is very well written , easy to read and understand and very interesting and captivating book. The way Bonhoeffer lived and what he tried to convey to others remindes me a lot of the Apostle Paul. Paul had such love for God and faith in Him that even while he was stoned and left for dead , he never stopped beliving in God. The same with Bonhoeffer. Bonhoeffer had a love and faith for God as much as Paul had and even during Bonhoeffer's trials and tribulations , he never lost faith and believed that it was God's plan for him and he was completely submitted to God. Even during his last days - he was the "calm in the storm' for his fellow inmates and he gave them strength they needed even though his days were numbered. I can't help but wonder what would've been if the allies had come in only a few weeks earlier?
Anyways , i'm not really good with words but i think this book is a very good read and it can teach you a few things on your way with God! So go and get it ! :-)

Laura Story is an amazing worhsip leader and song writer. "God Of Every Story" is a collection of amazing and wonderfully written songs about God and His love and mercy for us. The song "Grace" is my favorite. It's truly amazing how much God loves us and no matter what ,he always will and will always be there for us , if we keep believing in Him and only Him. Fantastic album, Laura. Love it!
