for KING & COUNTRY This was a terrific album by For king and Country. It shocked me a little because I wasn't used to Christian music like this. It's full of passion, despair, love. This is truly an amazing album....

This was a terrific album by For king and Country. It shocked me a little because I wasn't used to Christian music like this. It's full of passion, despair, love. This is truly an amazing album. I reccomend it for any Christian music lover. This is a powerful album. The highlights were: "Light it up", "The proof of your love", "Missing", "People change", "Busted Heart(hold onto me)", and finally my favorite track "Fine Fine Life". Such an amazing album.

Skillet really impressed me with Comatose and Awake. I really felt that they were doing it for God. With Rise it's different. In every Christian rock song I listen to I ask myself Is it really about Jesus. The album Awake I could believe that they were singing for God, but this album is ridiculous. Sick of it is just a complete hard rock song that has nothing to do with God. Now some people would tell me,"It might not have the word Jesus in it but it's still about Christianity". That is true but when I think about Christian music I think of straight Christian. To me if you shouldn't have to question wether it's Christian. With songs like "sick of it", "not gonna die", "american noise", and many other songs it's hard to tell wether it's Christian. The only song that I thought was pretty good was "salvation.

I have been a fan of Mercyme for many years. I really liked their last album The Hurt and the Healer. To me this is a step backwards. As soon as I heard "Shake" I knew the album wasn't going to be very good.I really didn't like the Jazz feel for the whole album. I understand them trying something new but I don't think this was the way to do it.To me, this is probably their weakest album to date.
