Red Screams Louder Than Ever | Posted February-01-2011
When I was first introduced to RED back in 2004 by a music rep for Provident-Integrity Music, I wasn't sure what I would hear on the early sampler. I popped in the CD and started rocking out before my workout at the gym. I took the CD into the gym, told the front desk manager to pop this in the player, and the exercise rooms went crazy. People all over the place were asking, "who is this?!"
This new album goes to show the maturity of Red and how far they've taken this album to the next level. This is the hardest stuff I've heard yet from Red. With all the changes they've gone through the last couple of years, these guys continue to make large strides in the music industry leaving a footprint that will last for years! Rock on Red!

If you aren't moving your body and ready to ignite while listening to this album, you're missing the best album of the year so far. Mixing Tait and Newsboys together is genius. The years of experience that the boys of Newsboys and Tait bring to the table is a bomb ready to explode and that comes across very clearly in this album. There's a ton of talent and Jesus filling this album.
We are sinners on this world that are Born Again through Jesus Christ and this album is a great encouragement for every believer and those looking into this relationship with Christ.
The Media is Ruining Our Prejudices... | Posted February-03-2010
I sat in on a live web-stream/interview last week with Ted and Carl at The World Prayer Center as they talked about "Tea With Hezbollah" and I had my eyes opened to just how prejudice I really am towards Muslims and extremists. The main problem is the media which I have let corrupt my understand of third-world countries. I have let the media make me think that all Muslims are corrupt and that "these people" are all our enemies. INCORRECT and UNTRUE.
First off, don't categorized Muslims as "these people" as this creates an unfair classification of people that are not all bad. There are plenty of peaceful, loving, and honest Muslims in the world today that are against the terror that we see in our world today. Secondly, the only difference between our beliefs is the Jesus portion of our stories. Jesus is the Messiah in our story. To Muslims, Jesus was just a good prophet who has wonderful teachings to follow.
I was also encouraged to know that Ted and Carl were willing to take the message of "Love your enemies and do good to those who hurt you" to other nations and cultures with a heart of love to see how they can help us understand them better. You will love this book because of the story-telling mentalities that both Ted and Carl have.
I'm skipping way to many details in this review because I don't want to ruin the book for you. The stories in this book will challenge you and open your eyes to what is really happening in the world today that the news is NOT telling us. Again, information that the news is NOT telling us.
Please pick up a copy of this book today! Don't Wait!!
itching to listen to this album | Posted August-27-2009
after listening to THE HEAT so many times i had to make a backup of the original album from almost ruining the original. i couldn't wait for album 3 to release. right off the bat, the licks with the banjo were simply delightful and catchy. i caught myself tapping my foot and didn't know how to stop. then the head began to bop back and forth. it's like listening to David Crowder's bluegrass version of worship and you're constantly tapping your foot and bopping your head without full understanding of how it even started. it's almost a requirement to enjoy the music!
needtobreathe has been instrumental in creating music that has incredible beats, licks, and musical tendencies that you can't but help move some part of your body. little did i know about this band until 3 years ago when i went with their label to a concernt in Ft Wayne, Indiana while they were touring with Train. i wasn't sure what the crowd's response would be to this little band touring with a monster group. i was happily surprised that the crowd loved them!
the response in the lobby was amazing at the artists' table. we unwrapped so many cds that night b/c people couldn't wait to put the CD in their stereo on the way home.
i gotta give this album another high rating. the lyrics are challenging, they cover everything from heartache, troubles, inspiration, high hopes, and decision making to make our relationship with Christ stronger each day. we live in a troubled world and this album will help anyone who is discouraged and frstrated to give them a boost in life. well done again fellas!

This album sums up everything about who Thousand Foot Krutch is and what they can do! I was completely reminded of SET IT OFF album when I heard the single Bring Me to Life on iTUNES but with a much stronger force of rock fushion released that comes from a maturity of the band. With Trevor balancing between FM Static and Thousand Foot Krutch, I highly recommend this upcoming release to anyone that enjoy both genres of music.
Intensely Orchestrational and Rock Filled | Posted August-24-2009
You can't go wrong with Skillet. I remember many years ago when I purchased their self-titled album SKILLET on cassette and I wore that thing out in my player. Skillet has continued to mature over the years as a rock band that influences people of all ages with their stringed melodies and rock aggression, hammered by lyrics thyat point to the One who can save us from ourselves, Jesus Christ! The self titled song AWAKE pounds out orchestrational dynamics with lyrics describing the war within us that wages with the world trying to kill our faith; but Christ breathes life into us awaking us from spiritual death. Be reminded that these guys are getting better and will continue to impact the Kingdom for many years to come. You gotta love Comatose Live! If you haven't seen the DVD, please find the CD/DVD combo and give it a chance! I've never seen a better performance than this one. Way to go guys! Continue to make each day a better day because tomorrow could be one day to late!
